Conversation Cafe
Class Details:
- Class size: 3-5 students
- Language: ESL (English as a second language)
- Student level requirement: B2 and higher
- Platform: Zoom
- Format overview: A weekly article or video is assigned and students come prepared to participate in the activities and discuss their opinions on the topic. Extra material is provided for students who would like to expand on the related topics
- Skills covered: Listening comprehension, reading comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, receptive and expressive language
- Topic overview: Current global issues concerning the environment and sustainability

Meet Your Teacher
Esther is an American educator living in Italy. She has a degree in psychology from the University of Southern California and a specialization in human behavior. She’s been teaching English as a second language for the last eight years and has developed student centered ESL curriculums that are used in Italian schools. Esther is very passionate about the environment. She cofounded The Olive Tree Project with her team when she moved to the Puglia and saw the current conditions in the region.
